The Maintenance Services Staff position involves performing various maintenance tasks within a residential property complex in Baton Rouge, LA. Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs such as fixing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, and replacing light bulbs.
• Change air filters and prepare apartments for new tenants.
• Install appliances and equipment as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas requiring maintenance.
• Report major damages to the maintenance manager for resolution.
• Remove existing flooring and dispose of materials appropriately.
• Prepare work surfaces using adhesives, grouting, or other materials.
• Lay various types of flooring including wood, carpeting, tiles, and concrete.
• Ensure flooring materials are secure and clean after installation.
• Perform minor HVAC repairs, such as replacing capacitors.
• Utilize small hand tools effectively.
• Provide great customer service to residents.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in property maintenance.
• Own basic hand tools.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
