About the position

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain friction feeders, wipe on and tamp labelers, gluing machines, conveyors, and various finishing equipment including slitters, die cutters, and shrink wrap.
• Utilize electrical, pneumatic, and basic machine shop skills such as drilling, grinding, sawing, and using hand and measurement tools.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in mechanical tasks.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift heavy objects as required by the job.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a mechanical role.
• Experience with label making or label finishing is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
