About the position

Join our team and grow with us both professionally and personally! Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Maintenance Specialist / IT Technician position. In this role, you will be responsible for performing direct on-site technology support for team members and residents. This includes performing hardware replacements when required for PCs, laptops, iPads, networking, and other related equipment. You will also be tasked with performing preventive maintenance and repairs on Life Safety and building systems, as well as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. This position is crucial in ensuring that our technology and facilities are running smoothly, providing a safe and efficient environment for both staff and residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to troubleshoot various technology issues that may arise. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner. Responsibilities

  • Perform direct on-site technology support for team members and residents.
  • Conduct hardware replacements for PCs, laptops, iPads, and networking equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Life Safety and building systems.
  • Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in technical maintenance or a related field.
  • 'Geek Squad' experience is a plus.
  • Intermediate desktop computer skills.
  • Knowledge of IOS devices.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
