About The Position

The Maintenance Specialist position at TSRC Specialty Materials LLC is responsible for developing and implementing reliability-based maintenance strategies, focusing on preventive and predictive maintenance. The role involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance tasks while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Maintenance Specialist will work closely with the Maintenance Leader and other plant personnel to optimize maintenance operations and improve equipment reliability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 8 years of maintenance experience as a journeyman in millwright or pipefitting craft.
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance scheduling.
• Clear understanding of Logic Based planning using Primavera 6 or Open Plan.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment installation and repair.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing reliability-based maintenance strategies.
• Work with the Maintenance Leader to build Logic Based reliable job plans.
• Plan and coordinate preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Create PM Plans and manage requisitioning for parts and services in SAP.
• Conduct field walk downs to identify and document job requirements.
• Estimate resource hours and total duration for maintenance tasks.
• Identify materials, tools, and equipment required for tasks.
• Keep the bill of materials updated and manage work order backlog.
• Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs.
• Utilize Primavera 6 or Open Plan for maintenance scheduling.
