About the position

The Maintenance Staff position at Dynamic Service Solutions involves general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of facilities. The role requires bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish, as well as the ability to perform a variety of maintenance duties including plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and general cleaning. The staff will also be responsible for responding to service calls and ensuring that all maintenance needs are addressed promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with projects including plumbing, electrical, fire suppression systems, electronic access, grounds keeping, HVAC and electrical systems.
• Perform reasonable maintenance and repairs including patching, painting, moving furniture, and changing light bulbs.
• Perform landscaping and snow removal tasks as needed.
• Maintain assigned facilities by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning various areas.
• Empty trash cans and recycle paper receptors, and replenish dispensers as needed.
• Perform major seasonal cleaning of carpets, classrooms, windows, and entrances.
• Maintain supply closets in an orderly manner and ensure building equipment is functioning properly.
• Respond to facility service calls in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.
• Identify potential safety concerns and mitigate hazards.
• Inspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
• Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary.
• Perform cleanliness and maintenance inspections.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Technician
• Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation
• HVAC Certification (Preferred)
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
