About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the community meet the Company's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality. This role involves assisting and completing work orders generated from resident requests for service, as well as routine upkeep on the community by diagnosing the source or cause of defects or problems, and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements. The supervisor also oversees the 'make-ready' process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins, develops standards for cleanliness and overall appearance, inspects work performed by service team members and contractors, maintains inventory of spare parts, completes monthly preventative maintenance procedures, and conducts safety meetings.

Requirements

  • Experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong technical and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair issues effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Previous supervisory experience in a maintenance role.
  • Familiarity with property management software.
  • Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work.
