The Maintenance Supervisor at Glenbrook Park Apartments is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations across various sites. This role involves planning, coordinating, budgeting, and ensuring the physical needs of the properties are met. The supervisor will lead a team of maintenance technicians, perform hands-on maintenance tasks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while maintaining positive resident relations and optimal retention.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient and high-quality work.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring preventive maintenance is performed regularly.
- Perform maintenance tasks as needed, providing guidance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Track maintenance performance metrics, manage budgets, and optimize operations to minimize downtime and costs.
Requirements
- Experience leading a maintenance team with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems, with troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members, management, and residents.
- Attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed thoroughly and to high standards.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar leadership role is preferred.
