About the position
The Maintenance Supervisor at Villas De Santa Fe is responsible for providing maintenance support and ensuring resident satisfaction through quality service and timely responses to service requests. This role involves preparing market-ready apartments, maintaining common areas, and performing various maintenance functions while delivering superior customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepares all market-ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping.
- Completes resident service requests in a timely manner.
- Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Performs on-call emergency procedures as required.
- Reports maintenance issues affecting the budget, such as life safety and property damages, to the manager.
- Schedules and performs preventative maintenance and records activities.
- Knowledgeable of state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems regarding maintenance.
- Attends and participates in required training programs.
- Provides superior customer service and represents the company professionally.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school education.
- 3+ years of related experience in maintenance.
- Valid Driver's License.
- EPA 608 - Minimum Type II certification or CPO if required by city or state.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and prepare bar graphs.
