About the position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and conducting hazard assessments. This role emphasizes the importance of safety training and the proper use of safety equipment in various working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Practice OSHA standards and company safety policy.
• Conduct continuing education of safety training as required by company and/or State and Federal Law.
• Complete a hazard assessment form before beginning any task.
• Utilize proper safety equipment when exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
• Maintain knowledge of all maintenance requirements for the property.

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance supervision or a related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety practices.
• Ability to conduct hazard assessments and implement safety protocols.
