About the position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading maintenance personnel to achieve operational objectives, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. This role involves initiating cross-functional projects, maintaining positive employee relations, and ensuring accountability among team members. The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Manager and work out of the Shawnee, OK facility.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively implements and maintains a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention and equipment maintenance.
  • Aligns workforce to the company vision by building trust and teamwork among employees.
  • Drives 5S standards for the team.
  • Develops a thorough understanding of site-level and company-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Supports positive change and ensures effective implementation of new processes and procedures.
  • Drives day-to-day execution of team-related responsibilities using Danfoss Behaviors.
  • Manages employee performance and provides development opportunities.
  • Coaches employees regarding training and skills development through ongoing communication.
  • Works closely with the Maintenance Manager to measure and report key maintenance performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent certifications and experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing people in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrates high ethical standards and aligns with Danfoss' values.
  • Creates and sustains a high-performance culture.
  • Exceeds expectations and values the process of achievement.
  • Demonstrates analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Acts as a continuous improvement and change agent.
