About the position

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of facility systems and equipment. This role involves developing maintenance procedures, conducting inspections, and coordinating with vendors for repairs, all while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and oversee their daily activities
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Fabricate, install, and maintain machinery and equipment
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Perform high voltage electrical work as needed
• Oversee HVAC systems and ensure optimal performance
• Manage facility maintenance, including building repairs, landscaping, and janitorial services
• Utilize computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders and schedule preventive maintenance
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for equipment repairs

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance or facilities management
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage work
• Proficient in HVAC systems and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to fabricate, install, and maintain machinery and equipment
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
