The Maintenance Supervisor position at JLL is a critical role responsible for overseeing the Facility Management Program. The candidate will need a strong background in Elpo Paint System and Conveyor Knowledge, as they will manage UAW Trades Scheduling, Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance Work, and Project Workload. This position requires direct supervision of operational support personnel, ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and effectively. The Maintenance Supervisor will also be tasked with project work assigned by the Facilities Manager or Senior Facilities Manager, making it essential to have strong organizational and management skills. In this role, the Maintenance Supervisor will manage various support personnel, including Maintenance Technicians, Mobile Equipment Technicians, General Housekeeping Personnel, and Industrial Cleaning & Water Blasting Personnel. The supervisor will fully manage vendor contracts as required and assist in addressing any ongoing issues or problems that may arise. Regular communication with building occupants regarding the status of projects is crucial, as is following up to ensure that work is completed satisfactorily and on time. The Maintenance Supervisor will also assist in providing necessary coverage for Managers during training and vacation periods, meet regularly with Site Managers to discuss outstanding issues, and investigate, plan, manage, and implement projects as directed by the Site Manager. Safety is a priority, and the supervisor will perform safe operating tours to ensure proper operation and solve any building operational issues, including supervising outside contractors and vendors. In addition to management responsibilities, the Maintenance Supervisor will assist with general housekeeping tasks, including inspections and ordering supplies, and will play a role in industrial cleaning projects. The position also involves overseeing mechanical systems, power systems, building systems, life/safety systems, and environmental health and safety compliance. Fleet management responsibilities include performing scheduled preventative maintenance and ensuring equipment uptime. Overall, this role is vital for maintaining the operational integrity of the facility and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
