About the position

The position involves supervising the aesthetic maintenance of public grounds and buildings across various Tribal areas, including residential, community, and industrial settings. The role requires overseeing Groundskeepers and Maintenance workers, planning work schedules, and managing project budgets and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the aesthetic maintenance of public grounds and buildings.
• Plan work schedules and sequence of operations for crew members.
• Review work in progress and adjust assignments and methods as necessary.
• Initiate and develop work bids and methods for each project.
• Determine equipment and materials required and ensure timely delivery to avoid work delays.
• Develop and maintain yearly budget for projects.
• Manage all aspects of project management including grant/contract reporting, budget tracking, and project estimates.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• Knowledge in all phases of groundskeeping and maintenance work.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment used for property and building maintenance.
• Experience with desktop workstations including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Effective communication and writing skills through various methods such as telephone, email, and meetings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
