About the position
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance operations of an automotive manufacturing facility in Kodak, TN, specifically for the 1st shift. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the maintenance department, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and managing a team of maintenance professionals. Responsibilities
- Supervise Maintenance Team Leaders and oversee overall operations for the Maintenance Department.
- Support the annual operating plan for the department, including capital and expense budget requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and activities such as defect rate investigations and standardized work improvements.
- Responsible for manpower planning and scheduling, including managing overtime activities.
- Identify training and development needs for department team members.
- Coordinate activities associated with new product planning and launch.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in industrial maintenance leadership.
- Experience in manufacturing supervision.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
