About the position

The Maintenance Team Leader at Glanbia Nutritionals is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of production equipment and facilities. This role involves organizing schedules, assigning work, and ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards. The leader will coach and develop maintenance technicians while collaborating with production management to ensure efficient operations. This position is permanent and operates on a day shift.

Responsibilities

• Organize schedules and assign work to maintenance personnel on production equipment.
• Maintain and service plant equipment and facilities through regular checks and servicing.
• Create, improve, manage, and expand preventative maintenance programs to prevent equipment failure.
• Supervise and direct maintenance personnel in their duties and provide guidance.
• Coordinate facility and utility outages and upgrades, managing interruptions in utilities.
• Develop solutions to plant-related problems and identify issues in operations.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Provide performance coaching to Maintenance Technicians to enhance their skills.
• Collaborate with internal teams, business partners, and customers in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in maintenance or a related field, or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
• Proficient in personal computer skills including email, record keeping, database activity, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Compliance with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
