About the position

As a Maintenance Team Leader at Glanbia Nutritionals, you will oversee the maintenance operations on the day shift, ensuring that production equipment is properly serviced and maintained. This role involves organizing schedules, coaching maintenance technicians, and collaborating with production management to uphold facility standards. You will be responsible for developing preventative maintenance programs, supervising maintenance personnel, and addressing plant-related issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Organize schedules and assign work to be done on production equipment.
• Maintain and service plant equipment and facilities through regular checks.
• Create, improve, manage, and expand preventative maintenance programs.
• Supervise and direct maintenance personnel in their duties.
• Coordinate facility and utility outages and upgrades.
• Develop solutions to plant-related problems.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Provide performance coaching to Maintenance Technicians.
• Collaborate with internal teams, business partners, and customers.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in maintenance or related field, or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics.
• Compliance with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
