This includes maintaining pool equipment and water quality, checking lighting, and reporting discrepancies to the Facilities Manager. The technician will also assist in preparing sites for special events, moving furniture, and maintaining clean and safe work areas. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on buildings, equipment, and facilities systems with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to identify maintenance issues and ensure proper working order.
  • Maintain pool equipment and water quality, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Complete work orders as assigned and update work logs for specific site requirements.
  • Assist in preparing sites for special events, including setting up and taking down furniture and equipment.
  • Report mechanical malfunctions to the facilities management staff and assist in identifying projects requiring outside contractor services.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work sites, complying with local, state, and company rules and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and complete minor repairs, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years' experience performing facilities maintenance.
  • Minimum of two years' experience working with HVAC or pool systems.
  • At least two years' experience with building management and work order systems.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of motors and electrical systems is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with maintenance solution applications like Upkeep, Yardi, Facility Dude, or similar apps.
  • Ability to work after hours as needed.
