As a Lease-Up Maintenance Technician at Elevation 16 Apartments, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our luxury property. You will work directly under the Maintenance Supervisor, providing you with ample opportunities for professional growth and development within Blanton Turner. Elevation 16 is a brand new build, representing a multi-million dollar investment in the community, and you will be part of a team that is dedicated to maintaining its high standards. Your daily responsibilities will include performing general maintenance and repairs throughout the building. This encompasses a variety of tasks such as minor plumbing repairs, general carpentry, painting, drywall work, and minor appliance repairs. You will also be responsible for conducting unit turns, which involve servicing appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems, replacing old or faulty parts, re-keying locks, and performing interior painting. Addressing residents' work order requests in a timely and professional manner is essential, as is maintaining positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the best products and pricing for the property. Effective communication is key in this role, as you will interact with various stakeholders, including residents, the Property Manager, Portfolio Manager, office staff, and vendors. Completing all work in a timely and professional manner is expected, and flexibility in your schedule is necessary to respond to after-hours requests as needed.
