About the position
The Maintenance Technician role at Aerotek involves ensuring the smooth operation of facility systems and equipment. The technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various machinery and systems in a clean and climate-controlled environment. This position offers opportunities for overtime and is essential for maintaining operational efficiency within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase motors up to 480v using testing equipment such as multi-meters.
- Repair, rebuild, and replace hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, shafts, and bearings.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance facility operations.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and blueprints/manuals for precise repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
- Mechanical inclination and aptitude for machine repair.
- Experience in preventative maintenance and industrial/facilities maintenance.
- Knowledge of conveyor maintenance and hydraulics/pneumatics.
