About The Position

The Maintenance Technician Senior at Howmet Aerospace is responsible for executing preventative and repair maintenance activities on all manufacturing equipment. This role involves performing skilled maintenance duties, troubleshooting, and repairing critical equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety in the manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma plus Vocational or Technical School Training in Basic Electricity and PLC programming or 10 years' experience
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in technical work

Responsibilities

  • Perform Preventive Maintenance on equipment
  • Assist in calibration documentation process
  • Test all emergency equipment and alarm system
  • Control Spare part inventory/stocking in maintenance and stores
  • Enter completed work orders in the system
  • Review PMs on current equipment and create more up-to-date PM's
  • Create new PMs for new equipment such as Presses, Ovens, CNC's, etc.
  • Inspect and assist in managing hazardous waste
  • Perform repairs as necessary
  • Conduct root cause analysis
  • Execute corrective maintenance
  • Conduct hand tool inspections
  • Change filters
  • Perform CMM tasks
  • Assist in training as needed
  • Participate in TPM, 6S, and other ABS workshops/training
  • Utilize CMMS
  • Implement LOTO procedures
  • Develop general maintenance skill set
  • Complete projects as assigned
  • Oversee cell improvements
  • Perform repairs and clean up/painting
  • Stock parts
  • Oversee cell installation projects
  • Oversee contractors related to projects
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and schematics (electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, etc.)
  • Conduct diagnostic testing on machines and system problems including PLC, Electrical, hydraulic, Pneumatic, etc.
