About the position

As a Maintenance Technician at Associa, you will play a vital role in maintaining the functionality and safety of residential communities. This position involves performing routine preventive maintenance and various repair tasks to ensure that properties are well-kept and meet safety standards. Your contributions will directly enhance the quality of life for residents and the overall value of the properties managed by Associa.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure efficient operation of building systems.
• Conduct maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Clean and repair building fixtures such as lights, locks, windows, and doors.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems and equipment as needed.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of directly related or closely related experience.
• Effective communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of general maintenance requirements including documentation and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements.
• Understanding of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
• Ability to provide own basic tools such as power drill and screwdrivers.
• Capability to safely operate and work on ladders up to 28 feet high.
• Proficiency in operating a smartphone and email for daily operations and communication.
• Ability to operate a vehicle for transportation between locations.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds frequently.
