Our Property Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining the physical appearance and integrity of the apartment community, ensuring a clean and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors. The technician will complete apartment make-ready procedures, which include tasks such as painting, servicing appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures, repairing old and faulty parts, replacing burnt-out light bulbs, checking and changing locks, and cleaning. Regular inspections of grounds, buildings, lighting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment will be part of the responsibilities, with repairs performed as necessary upon approval from the Property Manager. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining an organized maintenance shop and keeping an inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies. Additionally, maintaining the apartment community's curb appeal through necessary lawn care is expected. The technician will take after-hours emergency calls as assigned, demonstrating the need for flexibility and readiness to respond to urgent situations.
