About The Position

The Maintenance Technician role at Kerry involves ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and building systems within the beverage division in Lakeland, FL. Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food/beverage.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining air compressors and air dryers.
• Ability to install production equipment.
• Familiarity with operating principles of steam, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and ability to troubleshoot and repair their components.
• Ability to read piping diagrams and identify functions of components in air and water distribution systems.
• Capability to perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• PLC experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete building repairs and equipment installation.
• Troubleshoot and fulfill assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely manner.
• Follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations.
• Clean and lubricate machinery parts such as shafts, bearings, and gears.
• Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, and pneumatic equipment.
• Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Perform minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep of the building.
