The Maintenance Technician position at Express Employment Professionals involves performing various maintenance and repair tasks at a local resort in Gatlinburg, TN. The role is essential for ensuring the upkeep of guest rooms and public areas, contributing to a pleasant experience for guests. The technician will handle carpentry, plumbing, painting, and other maintenance duties, while also being responsible for outdoor common areas and preventive maintenance checks.
Responsibilities
- Performs guest room and public area maintenance and repairs
- Conducts carpentry, plumbing, painting, and drywall spackling
- Handles exterior building maintenance repairs as needed
- Cleans and monitors outdoor common areas
- Maintains pools and hot tubs
- Performs grounds maintenance
- Completes preventive maintenance checklists
- Communicates effectively with team members and guests
- Lifts up to 50lbs and stands/walks for extended periods of time
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous maintenance experience or experience with carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, and electrical work required
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
