About the position

The Maintenance Technician at RealSource Properties is responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the property meet established standards for safety, appearance, and operational efficiency. This role involves diagnosing and repairing issues in various areas such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, while adhering to budgetary constraints and compliance with Fair Housing laws. The technician will provide exceptional service to residents and maintain the company's investment in the property.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to residents while maintaining the company's investment.
• Troubleshoot service requests daily for residents, prioritizing and ensuring timely completion.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Maintain pool/spa equipment, fitness equipment, and laundry facilities as applicable.
• Inspect all aspects of the property, including grounds, buildings, and fire alarms, as part of preventive maintenance.
• Be available for quick responses for on-call duties as per company policy.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings as required or requested.
• Complete safety and continued education courses assigned via computer.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Property Manager or Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year maintenance experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certificate preferred.
