About the position
The Maintenance Technician role at Aerotek involves performing mechanical and electrical repairs and troubleshooting on various equipment including robots, conveyors, and printers. The position requires a blend of technical skills in electrical systems and mechanical maintenance, with a focus on preventative maintenance and facility upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and troubleshooting on robots, conveyors, sensors, servo motors, HMIs, PLCs, cameras, assembly lines, laser printers, and inkjet printers.
- Handle electrical tasks such as PLC troubleshooting, low voltage circuits, and 480v 3-phase electrical systems.
- Conduct servo motor troubleshooting and machining, assembly, and wiring of parts.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, and furniture assembly.
- Perform preventative maintenance on the facility.
Requirements
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Automation Direct and Control Tech Corp).
- Knowledge of low voltage circuits and 480v 3-phase electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot servo motors.
- Experience with machining (manual mills, lathes, CNCs).
- Skills in assembly and wiring of parts.
- Familiarity with HVAC maintenance and plumbing.
