About the position
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is a hands-on role focused on supporting plant production processes to achieve safety and operational goals. This position involves performing inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of plant equipment, ensuring efficient operation within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of plant equipment.
- Assist in training multi-craft new hires and other team members.
- Document work in the SAP system and facility engineering files.
- Maintain work area housekeeping, including storage/work area and lubrication points.
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate thoroughly with others regarding maintenance activities.
- Progressively become more self-directed in work responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Must have an associate's degree or certificate in a craft-related field and one additional short certificate in a different craft field.
- Proficient in 80% of Mechanical and Electrical Training Matrix.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Electrical Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Maintenance, Machine Tool Technology, Welding Technology, or HVAC.
