About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Greystar is responsible for performing technical and mechanical work to ensure that the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet the company's standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role involves completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant apartments for leasing, while also maintaining the overall appearance and safety of the property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service and performs preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing by completing inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Tracks inventory and notifies the maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork accurately and timely for service requests.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning and performing general maintenance tasks.
• Supports cost-cutting programs by repairing rather than replacing parts.

Requirements

• EPA Refrigeration Certification (Type I and II or Universal).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Entry-level experience in maintenance.
