About The Position

The Maintenance Technician position at a locally owned farm in Everson involves performing electrical maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of processing and packaging systems. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hands-on industrial electrical maintenance work.
• Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting and repair of electrical motors, controls, and PLCs.
• Minimum formal education required: high school diploma or GED.
• Able to work daily and weekend overtime hours as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience leading and guiding other maintenance personnel in performing electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform measurements of AC and DC voltage, resistance, amperage, and similar electrical power attributes, and perform continuity checks.
• Install, wire, and troubleshoot control devices, proximity sensors, switches, counters, relays, and VSDs.
• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repair on three-phase motors and control circuits.
• Mechanically and electrically install processing and packaging systems per work orders and specifications from Engineering.
• Support equipment startup efforts of projects including operator training, operation instructions, and safety procedures.
• Be responsible for all PMs and adding to the current schedule.
• Conduct monthly checks involving pest management and other various duties as required.
• Assist in production in case of an emergency.
• Be responsible for overnight emergency calls on a rotating schedule with the manager.
