About the position
The Service Technician position at Benchmark Management involves maintaining the apartment community in a safe, attractive, and comfortable condition. The role requires assisting the Service Manager with various maintenance operations and projects, ensuring the community meets high standards of upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the entire apartment community in a safe and attractive condition.
- Assist the Service Manager with all projects and phases of on-site maintenance operations.
- Perform maintenance tasks related to electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents in a timely manner.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance issues.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance or skilled trade experience.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances.
Nice-to-haves
- Certifications such as CPO or HVAC are preferred but not mandatory.
