About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Lone Star National Bank is responsible for maintaining bank branches and properties, focusing on preventive maintenance and routine repairs in various systems including air conditioning, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure the facilities are safe and compliant with regulations, while also participating in ongoing training and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining bank branches and properties, including performing preventive maintenance on air conditioning units.
• Perform routine repairs on carpentry, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Participate in job-specific training and other various Bank training programs as necessary.
• Maintain current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy.
• Comply with all federal and state laws and regulations and established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations.
• Maintain knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance (building maintenance experience preferred)
• Ability to climb ladders and stairways and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be mentally alert at all times due to safety reasons.
• Must have a current driver's license and possess a reliable vehicle.
