About the position

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance duties at EAH Housing properties, specifically at Coronado Plaza and Seven Maples in Los Angeles, CA. This role requires the technician to repair and maintain various items on the property without outside vendor assistance, ensuring the upkeep of affordable family and senior housing communities. The position emphasizes the importance of timely unit turnover and comprehensive maintenance skills, including plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform all facets of lock and key replacement/repair, including weather stripping, door and window functioning, and locks.
• Conduct all interior repairs related to walls and doors.
• Execute electrical repairs including fixtures, lights, plugs, and switches.
• Change AC filters, check coils, and clean and repair as necessary.
• Perform annual unit inspections.
• Ensure the turnover of units within 5 days.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Valid California driver's license, clean DMV record, and reliable transportation.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
