About the position

The Maintenance Technician II position at Sares Regis Group involves providing maintenance support for a 386-unit community in Broomfield, CO. The role requires a skilled professional to handle various maintenance tasks, including repairs and renovations, while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The technician will work Monday to Friday with on-call responsibilities, contributing to the upkeep and functionality of the property.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance service requests and perform repairs in turnover and renovation units.
• Conduct internal and external repairs including drywall, painting, plumbing, appliance repairs, and HVAC systems.
• Participate in emergency and after-hours coverage as required.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts and tools.
• Fabricate and repair wooden structures such as cabinets and counters.
• Maintain inventory and prepare related paperwork.
• Keep storage facilities and equipment organized and in working condition.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, drywall, and appliances.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in performing quality work and using required tools and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders and safety documents.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED; technical school or equivalent experience preferred.
• HVAC/CPO certifications required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in property management maintenance.
• Knowledge of OSHA and MSDS requirements.
