About the position

The Maintenance Technician III role at Ceva Animal Health is focused on supporting production through general building and mechanical maintenance. This includes diagnosing and repairing complex production equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. The technician will work primarily Monday to Friday, with potential overtime and on-call responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and mechanical maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks.
• Diagnose and repair complex production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and pressure vessels.
• Conduct preventive maintenance through visual inspections of belts, gears, wiring, and controls.
• Respond quickly to emergency calls to resolve problems.
• Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, high pressure steam boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Provide written reports documenting equipment conditions and proposed corrective actions.
• Perform daily rounds and inspections of mechanical rooms and production areas.
• Complete work orders and scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Communicate issues or need for assistance to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
• Interact with Security Contractor to respond to alarms and maintain facility equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Trade school certification in HVAC or equivalent training.
• 5 or more years of experience servicing and maintaining chillers, boilers, rooftop packaged units, and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and knowledge of PLC systems with the ability to read ladder logic.
• Ability to work overtime and participate in weekend and on-call rotation schedules.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
