About the position

The Maintenance Technician III position at Aerotek involves maintaining and troubleshooting various conveyor systems and electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment in a major e-commerce distribution center. This role offers opportunities for formal training on high-speed automation and robotic equipment, with significant potential for upward mobility within the company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
• Train employees as needed.
• Provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programs.
• Complete assigned PMs and provide feedback on any improvements that might be needed.
• Install and maintain photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders.
• Mentor technicians by motivating, providing guidance, and directions to help them achieve their goals.
• Work with teams to complete any additional projects as assigned.
• Complete all safety training as assigned by the Company.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience performing maintenance (mechanical & electrical) on equipment.
• 1+ year of experience leading and managing a team within the last 2 years of employment.
• Preferred: Associate degree from a technical school, apprenticeship, certifications, military training, or hands-on training related to the maintenance field.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with industrial maintenance, equipment maintenance, electro-mechanical systems, and electrical maintenance.
