Maintenance Technician - Jasper at Victory Ridge

About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Greystar is responsible for performing technical and mechanical work to ensure that the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet the company's standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role involves completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant apartments for leasing, while also maintaining the overall appearance and safety of the property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service and performs preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing by completing inspections, creating maintenance lists, and scheduling necessary work.
• Tracks inventory of materials and supplies, notifying the maintenance supervisor of re-ordering needs.
• Documents service requests accurately and in a timely manner for tracking purposes.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure-washing, and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting measures by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Requirements

• Valid EPA Universal Certification license or equivalent certifications for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
