Landmark Realty, LLC is a national owner-operated property management company based in San Francisco, managing over 6,000 units across multiple states, including California, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois. We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, providing a safe and comfortable living environment for our tenants. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to building and property maintenance, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property maintenance and be able to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively. The Maintenance Technician will be expected to complete all duties regarding make-ready and vacant units, service appliances as requested, and perform general building maintenance services. This includes addressing plumbing and basic electrical needs, such as replacing or fixing toilets, light switches, garbage disposals, and ceiling fans. The technician will also be responsible for re-keying locks, maintaining an inventory of tools and supplies, and replacing burned-out light bulbs and broken globes throughout the property. Additionally, the technician will perform corrective maintenance and respond to service requests from residents, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with company procedures. Regular inspections of the grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment will be part of the technician's responsibilities. The technician should be familiar with the location of power, water, and gas turnoff valves, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers, and fire hydrants on the property. The role requires entering occupied apartments to perform necessary repairs, and the technician must observe the condition of the apartments and report any unusual circumstances, such as unauthorized occupants or illegal activity. This position is essential for maintaining the overall quality and safety of our properties, and we are looking for a dedicated individual who can contribute positively to our team.
