About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Indigo Real Estate is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of properties, providing excellent customer service, and responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various maintenance tasks while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests as directed and ensure work orders are handled professionally and promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents, promoting a quality living experience.
• Perform preventative maintenance and apartment turns, including painting, diagnosing problems, and repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and appliances.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness, collaborating with outside contractors as needed.
• Perform effective emergency maintenance after hours as required.

Requirements

• Preferred minimum 2 years of experience in property maintenance.
• Painting experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
