We are looking for Production Maintenance Technician - Mechatronic to work rotating shifts (1st and 2nd). This position will be based at Grand Prairie.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs quickly and safely to prevent any impacts to production operations
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as motors, switches, pneumatic valves, control panels, & computer equipment.
  • Assemble, wire, and test new equipment according to engineering specifications
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure cleanliness, optimal performance, and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with production personnel to address reported issues & provide training or instruction as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints & use necessary hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Desire to work hands-on in a fast-paced light manufacturing environment & physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
  • Schedule flexibility to work rotating shifts (first and/ or second), off-hours, & weekends as needed to support production
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Experience with Windows PC environment & familiarity with networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures such as Lock Out Tag Out
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in maintenance.

  • The pay range for this position is $62,720 - $107,520. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
