About the position

The Maintenance Technician role at Aerotek involves the maintenance, repair, and installation of various equipment and machinery within a metal stamping plant. The technician will work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal operation of machinery, contributing to the company's growth and efficiency. This position offers opportunities for both 1st and 2nd shifts, along with potential overtime, in a fast-paced environment that values safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install equipment and machinery around the plant.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Work on a variety of metal stamping and fabrication machinery, including punch presses, brake presses, turret presses, some CNC machines, welding machines, and paint lines.
• Perform all duties in accordance with the company's safety policies and procedures.
• Follow specifications, requirements, and procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping and sanitation practices.
• Report any problems to the supervisor or manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
