About the position
The Maintenance Technician at Satori Apartments is responsible for ensuring high-quality move-ins and resident satisfaction through timely and professional service. This role involves a variety of maintenance tasks, including preparing apartments for new residents, responding to service requests, and maintaining the property’s amenities. The technician plays a crucial role in delivering superior customer service and upholding the company’s standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepares make ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs.
- Responds to resident requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintains grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Reports maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Performs maintenance tasks as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Attends and participates in required training programs.
- Delivers superior customer service and represents the company professionally at all times.
- Maintains safety procedures and safeguards company tools and equipment.
- Achieves high productivity through reliable attendance and timely reporting of issues.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school education.
- 1+ years of related experience in maintenance or a similar role.
- Valid Driver's license and EPA 608 - Minimum Type II certification or local city required certificate.
- Knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, and general carpentry skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to read and understand policy manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and prepare bar graphs.
- Ability to deal with routine problems involving several known variables.
