About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Averly Apartments is responsible for ensuring high-quality living conditions for residents by performing various maintenance tasks. This role focuses on delivering superior customer service, addressing resident requests promptly, and maintaining the property to ensure safety and satisfaction. The technician will handle a range of duties from preparing apartments for new residents to responding to maintenance emergencies, all while adhering to company standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares make ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, and general cleaning.
• Responds to resident requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintains grounds, pools, common areas, and dog park amenities to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Reports maintenance concerns on vacant units and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Performs scheduled maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Attends and participates in required training programs.
• Delivers superior customer service and represents the company professionally.
• Maintains safety procedures and safeguards company tools and equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• 1+ years of related experience in maintenance or a similar role.
• Valid Driver's license and EPA 608 - Minimum Type II certification.

Nice-to-haves

• CPO or local city required certificate.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, and general carpentry skills.
