Conifer Realty is seeking to expand its maintenance team with multiple full-time positions available in Ithaca, NY. Responsibilities

• Maintaining indoor and outdoor maintenance and clean presentation of the community.
• Completing routine painting, carpentry, drywall, cleaning, minor plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and other maintenance activities in response to work orders.
• Preparing vacant units for new residents to move in.
• Managing outdoor grounds maintenance including trash management, mowing, trimming shrubbery, and cultivating flower beds.
• Performing snow, ice, salting, and debris removal as needed.
• Communicating timely with team members for immediate follow-up on work orders.
• Responding to emergency on-call duties on a rotational basis within 30 minutes of notification.
• Adapting to changing work priorities to meet project deadlines.
• Working overtime when assigned.
• Working well independently and as part of a team.
• Taking pride in performing quality work and meeting residents' needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years prior apartment or home repair maintenance skills such as drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and cleaning.
• Minimum High School diploma/GED required.
• Some computer skills helpful for timekeeping, emails, online training modules, and work order processing or willingness to train.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong time management, problem solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• HVAC experience helpful or willingness to train.
