The Maintenance Technician position at Sea Pines Resort LLC involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks under the direction of the Home & Villa Maintenance Manager, Facility Maintenance Manager, and Director of Facility Services. This role is essential in ensuring that the facilities are maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition, adhering to health and fire regulations. The technician will assist in executing preventative maintenance programs and will be required to work during holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed. The technician will be responsible for general repair maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks, which include learning complex systems such as lighting, HVAC, and sound control. Specific duties involve replacing faucets, ice makers, toilets, and dishwashers, troubleshooting electrical fixtures, and repairing windows and doors. The technician will also be tasked with maintaining and servicing kitchen and emergency equipment, installing fire extinguishers, and ensuring that all tools and equipment are in working condition. In addition to general maintenance, the technician will perform electrical repair work, plumbing maintenance, and painting tasks. This includes identifying plumbing issues, repairing leaks, maintaining sewer and supply lines, and applying various finishes to surfaces. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining maintenance inventory records, preparing reports, and monitoring maintenance schedules to ensure timely task completion.
