About the position

The Maintenance Technician role at Aerotek involves maintaining and repairing various plant equipment, including mills, saws, conveyors, pumps, motors, hydraulics, and CNC equipment. The technician will perform electrical duties, preventative maintenance, welding, and fabrication as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant equipment including mills, saws, conveyors, pumps, motors, hydraulics, forklifts, and CNC equipment.
• Use electrical schematics to wire control systems.
• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines.
• Connect power supply wires to machines and building equipment.
• Handle 3-phase power up to 480V.
• Troubleshoot PLCs.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Execute welding and fabrication duties when necessary.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with 3-phase power and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
