Responsibilities

• Participate and successfully complete the Maintenance Technician Trainee program.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of equipment to ensure optimum operating conditions.
• Gain knowledge of machine shop equipment, electronic industrial systems, PLCs, and power distribution.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machines and drive power distribution systems.
• Perform PLC maintenance and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, maintenance manuals, and manufacturing specifications.
• Cut, form, thread, fit, and install piping for various systems.
• Prepare and weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using multiple technologies.
• Log or use a computerized work order system for repair and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
• Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights
• Basic computer skills
• Must provide basic tools

Nice-to-haves

• AAS degree in Industrial Systems Technology or Electrical Systems Technology
• Previous industrial manufacturing experience
• Basic knowledge of machine technology and operation of heavy industrial machinery
