About the position
The Maintenance Technician at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. This position involves assisting management in maintaining smooth operations to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. The role is customer-facing and includes general customer service duties, maintenance tasks, and the use of various tools and equipment for facility upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Assist store, restaurant, and truck care departments with general cleaning, maintenance, stocking, and customer service needs.
- Perform equipment repair and maintenance on HVAC systems, fuel systems, service trucks, refrigeration systems, etc.
- Conduct pressure washing, plumbing repair, and site inspections.
- Provide assistance and resolve issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
Requirements
- Valid CDL license preferred.
- Experience in restaurant or customer service roles is beneficial.
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in facility maintenance or repair work.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
