About the position

Hometown America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance tasks for community buildings, common areas, and leased homes. The role focuses on ensuring the community is well-maintained and adheres to curb appeal standards, while also fostering a collaborative environment with team members and residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the community is presentable and inviting, adhering to curb appeal standards.
• Perform grounds work and seasonal maintenance in common areas, including power washing, pest control, and landscaping.
• Communicate daily with the supervisor and collaborate with team members to meet customer expectations.
• Follow safety procedures while operating equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain a professional rapport with residents, vendors, contractors, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Previous experience in pool management is preferred.
• General knowledge of landscaping, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and hand tools is preferred.
• Ability to work in various seasonal temperatures and perform outdoor work.
• Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends for emergency situations.

Nice-to-haves
