About the position
The Maintenance Technician position involves repairing and maintaining company facilities, vehicles, and factory equipment for an established manufacturer of premium service trucks in Sheldon, IA. The role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the functionality and safety of various systems and equipment within the company.
Responsibilities
- Utilize maintenance scheduling systems.
- Install, maintain, and/or repair company equipment, tools, and facilities.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and record its completion.
- Assist with HVAC, plumbing and electrical maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Previous technical certification in field of study preferred.
- Driver's license required, CDL a plus.
- Previous maintenance experience required, plumbing and electrical experience preferred.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs, stand/walk 4+ hrs. at a time.
