About the position
The Maintenance Technician at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. This role involves assisting management in maintaining smooth operations to enhance customer satisfaction. The position is customer-facing and includes general maintenance duties, equipment repair, and compliance with safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service assistance and resolve issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Assist store, restaurant, and truck care departments with cleaning, maintenance, stocking, and customer service needs.
- Utilize various tools and equipment for facility maintenance, including HVAC systems, fuel systems, and plumbing repairs.
- Conduct site inspections and perform equipment repairs as needed.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, and Facility Maintenance.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
